Terms of Use
Last updated: 11 July 2026
These terms apply to this AreaSense marketing website. Using the AreaSenseapplication (creating an account, generating reports, subscriptions) is governed by the separate terms presented within the app.
Information, not advice
AreaSense provides area and property information to help you make decisions. It is for general information only and is not legal, financial, planning, mortgage or surveying advice. Always carry out your own due diligence and take professional advice before committing to a property.
Accuracy of data
Reports are compiled from official public UK datasets. Those sources can contain gaps, errors or lag, and coverage varies across England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland. We present the data as clearly and honestly as we can, but we don't warrant that it is complete, accurate or up to date, and you rely on it at your own risk.
Acceptable use
Please don't misuse this website — for example by attempting to disrupt it, scrape it at scale or use it unlawfully. We may restrict access to protect the service.
Intellectual property
The AreaSense name, branding and the design of this website belong to us. Public sector information shown in reports is used under the Open Government Licence v3.0 and remains the property of its respective sources.
Beta
AreaSense is in beta. Features, coverage and pricing may change, and parts of the service may be unavailable from time to time.
Liability
To the extent permitted by law, AreaSense is not liable for any loss arising from decisions made in reliance on the information provided. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under law.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
