This policy explains how AreaSensehandles information on this marketing website (the pages you're reading now). The AreaSense application is a separate product with its own privacy policy covering accounts, reports and billing.

What we collect

This website has no accounts and no sign-up. Apart from the details you choose to send us when booking a demo (see below), we collect as little as possible:

• Aggregate, cookieless analytics— anonymous, aggregated usage statistics (such as page views and country) that don't use cookies and can't identify you.
• Anything you send us — if you email us, we receive your email address and message so we can reply.

Booking a demo

If you book a demo, we collect the details you enter on that form: your name and work email (both required), your role and — if you choose to give them — your company, phone numberand any notes about what you'd like to see. We also record the time slot you picked, your time zone and which page you came from so we know how you found us.

We use these details on the basis of your consent, which you give by ticking the box on the form, and only to arrange and run your demo and to follow up about it. Marketing updates are a separate, optional tick box — leaving it unticked has no effect on your booking, and you can withdraw that consent at any time by emailing us or using the unsubscribe link.

Your booking is stored in the AreaSense booking system and is visible to the colleagues who arrange and deliver demos. We keep it for as long as we need it to run the demo and follow up, and then no longer than necessary for our records. To cancel a demo, change its time or ask us to delete your booking details, use the links in your confirmation email or email contact@areasense.co.uk.

Cookies

We don't set non-essential or advertising cookies on this website, and our analytics are cookieless — so there's no consent banner to click through. If that changes (for example if we add analytics that set cookies), we'll ask for your consent first, with an equally prominent option to decline.

Your rights

Under UK data-protection law you have rights over your personal data, including the right to access, correct or erase it and to object to or restrict its use. To exercise any of these, email contact@areasense.co.uk. You can also complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO).

Data sources

AreaSense reports are compiled from official public UK datasets. Those datasets describe places and properties, not you as a visitor to this website.
